Alison Wonderland's real title is Alexandra Margo Sholler. She is a Australian artist DJ, producer of dance music and DJ. Tolman was raised in the city of New York and is a mother to two older and a younger brother. At the beginning of her life, Tolman's family was relocated to England. They remained there until she reached age four. After spending five years in Oklahoma She made the move to Sugar Land. When she was ten years old actress, she began acting in the Fort Bend Community Theatre. She went to Clements High School, graduating in the year 2000. Baylor University granted her a Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis on the performance of the stage. In Dallas following her graduation from college, she joined one of the original founders of Second Thought Theatre. In Chicago, Illinois in 2009 she completed her studies in performance through The Second City Training Center. Tolman made her debut in 2014. She starred on the FX Crime comedy Fargo's debut season. Fargo was based on Coen Brothers' film of the same name. It starred Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman, along with Bob Odenkirk. Tolman received praise for her portrayal as Minnesota the policeman Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair stated that Tolman, "calmly" and "assuredly" was the star of the show. Tolman was awarded the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress for a Movie/Miniseries, and was nominated for Best Actress at both the Emmy Awards & Golden Globes for her role. Tolman was given the role of a guest on two episodes in the role of romance novelist Abby Berman on The Mindy Program the same year. In 2015, her supporting part was played by Michael Dougherty in the film horror comedy Krampus. Tolman declined several support roles, like those performed by mothers, wives and friends, following her debut on Fargo. Tolman wanted a different job. In 2017, Tolman starred in ABC's Downward Dog, based on the Animal Media Group web series that was cancelled following one season. In addition, she starred on the ABC drama show Emergence that was launched on September 24, 2019 but was pulled after a single season, on May 21 the 21st of May, 2020. The show received "pretty decent" ratings, according to Tolman on Twitter. Her guest appearances in the NBC show NBC Good Girls were also cited as a source.
